Set in the rugged heart of Prescott, Arizona, The Granite Mountain Grind is a brutally technical no nonsense race in the most rugged granite terrain. This is the only sanctioned Ultra race in this area of Prescott.

The 50K is designed for runners who crave adventure and love technical footing races. People who want earned finishes, not freebies. Expect rocky climbs, fast descents, and long stretches of pristine singletrack surrounded by towering boulders and juniper‑studded landscapes. Whether you're chasing a podium finish or soaking in the scenery, this course delivers a true Arizona trail‑running experience.

This is a fully supported race, with 3 fully stocked aid stations, 2 in between water stations, a well-marked course, and on‑course safety teams to keep runners fueled and confident from start to finish. Every participant will receive a finisher medal, and awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in both the male and female categories.

To preserve the quality of the experience and protect the trails, the inaugural 2026 event will be limited to 100 runners for the race. Early registration is strongly encouraged—this one is expected to fill quickly.
